LifeHouse is very excited to partner with the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office and the Topeka Police Department to start presenting "Protecting Your Children: Advice From Child Molesters" at local elementary schools again for the 2015-2016 school year!

Since bringing this program to Shawnee County in August 2014, nearly 500 parents/caregivers, professionals, and other members of the community have been educated in new ways to identify and prevent child abuse. We hope to be able to present this to all schools in the county, so keep an eye out for notices coming home in backpacks!

Check here or on LifeHouse's Facebook page for upcoming presentations and let us know if you have a school or an organization you would like us to come out to. As always, don't hesitate to contact LifeHouse with any questions!  785-232-5433 or
cac@lifehousecac.com

Pizza, drinks, and child care will be provided in order to make it super easy for parents and caregivers to attend.

Presentations listed below are open to all members of the community.  The workshop incorporates interviews with convicted sex offenders and graphic discussions about sex crimes and child abuse.  Children and teens should not attend the presentation but child care will be available. Attendees with a personal history of abuse are encouraged to have support people available following the presentation.
